Ev Waugh writes from a small town in the Susquehanna Valley where she spends much of her time, spare or otherwise, noticing the birds.

Ev grew up in Riverdale, Maryland and studied philosophy at the University of Southern Maine. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in Big Whoopie Deal, Passenger’s Journal, Bangalore Review, and a few other publications.

She’s a recipient of a grant from the Maine Arts Commission (an independent state agency supported by the National Endowment for the Arts) and a Dibner Fellowship from the Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance, both in support of her first, unpublished novel. Her favorite whiskey is Widow Jane.
